Mermaid Turns 40 – And Upcoming at MIPAC in Windsor #Novascotia

Though we’ve got 2 shows out on the road in Seattle and Chicago, There’s lots going on at our home base in Windsor in the coming month, including

  • Canadian funnyman Lorne Elliott performs at MIPAC this Saturday, May 5 at 8:00pm.
  • Rising star of Nova Scotia’s Blues scene, Charlie A’Court, performs at MIPAC on Saturday, May 26 at 8:00pm.
  • Emily Gore School of Dance will present “Alice in Wonderland” on Saturday, June 2 at 2:00pm and 6:00pm.
  • Mermaid’s own Treasured Stories by Eric Carle plays on Saturday, June 9 at 2:00pm, which coincides with our big birthday party at 12:00pm.

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia celebrates its 40th birthday this year.  Saturday, June 9, 2012 we will have a public party at our facility at 132 Gerrish Street in Windsor.  Everyone is invited out for cake, balloons, popcorn and puppets.  The party is free and starts at 12:00, though you need to buy tickets to see the show.  Tickets for any show are available at Moe’s (798-5565).
